All rooms and spaces at the Memorial Hall are available for hire at very reasonable rates. Whether it is for community classes, a function, wedding, party, conference, whatever! You can host your event or class within this beautiful, historic and heritage listed venue.
We have a number of spaces available including the Theatre, Reception Room, Gallery, Courtyard, Picture Garden and Amphitheatre.
Added to this is full bar facilities with professional bar staff, on-site catering services available from our gold-plate winning chef and even outdoor and indoor cinema screens.

The Theatre
The restored art deco, air-conditioned theatre space is an ideal setting for cabaret, intimate supper club, dining or theatre performances. It is also a wonderfully intimate venue for a wedding reception or party. The capacity is 145 persons, with polished jarrah floorboards, adjustable rostra seating and disabled facilities. The cinema sized screen is ideal for the projection of conference information or to incorporate into performances. There is a viewing balcony, sound and lighting board and backstage areas with change rooms.
The 213m square theatre space also possesses excellent acoustics for musical performances.

Reception Room and Dance Studio
This large space is often used for dance and martial art training and also for dinners and reception functions. The room has wonderful polished jarrah floorboards, mirrors at one end and is air-conditioned. Double glass doors open out into the foyer area. Capacity is 145 people.

Gallery
Upstairs in the Memorial Hall is our Gallery space. It is a very large, air-conditioned and carpeted room with high ceilings and a big private balcony overlooking the picture garden and surrounding parks. There is plenty of natural light, is quiet and private and has a great ambience. Upgrades to the lighting facilities are currently in the pipeline to better accommodate art exhibitions however it is a great space for any type of function or meeting. Capacity is limited to only 50 people at the present moment but we hope to make amendments to accomodate more in the near future.

Courtyard and Picture Garden
Adjoining the building is a beautiful enclosed courtyard with a Mediterranean atmosphere and a picture garden that is home to Camelot Outdoor Cinema through the warmer months. It is accessed from double glass doors from the foyer and has an al fresco dining area with new aluminium outdoor furniture, bar service area and is covered by a large dome of shade cloth.
